Furniture Beetle Fly
The abdomen of a beetle does not usually have special parts on the outside, but it has the beetle’s gut inside.

It is not known why they seem ready to get into our homes, but it is suspected there are certain scents or odors which lure them. They actively fly in warm sunny weather. A furniture beetle takes up to the three years to go through the four different life stages – egg, larva, pupa, and adult – so those larvae could be chewing up your furniture for some time.
