Furniture carpet beetle killer. Just how small is the Varied Carpet Beetle? Carpet beetles are known to be home pests inhabiting carpets, furniture, leather products and furniture. Look for clothes, linens, and towels that have been eaten away, and discard them to prevent the infestation from spreading.

Carpet beetles will also feed off the felt under furniture and lamps, and inside musical instrument cases. There are several species of carpet beetles found throughout the United States. The carpet beetles never bite or destroy anything, it is their young ones you should blame.
Keratin is the main protein found in animal. The more water you add, the less potent it’ll be. Often times mistaken for “some sort of ladybug” because of their characteristic shape and sometimes spotted carapace, Carpet beetles are small (about 1/8 th to 1/4 th of an inch long), dome-shaped insects with an appetite for fashion and furniture.
Where you see an adult beetle, you will probably find larvae and eggs nearby. Also, moisture control works to help prevent beetle infestations. It is fairly easy to find carpet beetles because they leave a trail of destruction behind them.
Together, this group is usually considered more economically important as fabric pests than the clothes moths. If the carpet beetles are in their larvae stage, they will search around in the dark looking for food. Though carpet beetles don’t sting or bite, they can cause plenty of damage to fabrics and furniture.
